Photo Contest Rules and Regulations

Calling all photographers!  CAR would like to invite every REALTOR® who enjoys photography to participate in our monthly photo contest.  Each month, CAR will announce the photo topic (landscape, animals, homes, etc.) and the prize for the Best Photo .  All photos must be taken within the state of Colorado. Some prizes will include: Submissions published in CAR’s quarterly E-magazine and cover photo for CAR marketing material and social media pages.

Any photos entered must be your own original work.  Entries containing material deemed to be, in CAR’s sole, exclusive judgement, inappropriate, will be disqualified. By entering the contest, photographers grant CAR an unrestricted license and permission to publish and use such photo on any CAR marketing and communication materials. There will be no monetary compensation for photos and any photos submitted can be used on CAR marketing materials in CAR’s exclusive discretion. Qualifying photos must be high resolution (300 dpi or larger).  

CAR will always credit the author of a photo whenever and wherever it appears on the site or within marketing materials. Because of this, there’s no need to watermark your photo. A small and subtle watermark is allowed but not encouraged—we want to see your photograph without any distractions.

CAR staff will pick the “Top Five” photos from all submissions.  The “Top Five” photos will be posted on three social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Whichever photo has the most likes and re-tweets will be the winner!
